Acrylic oxygen helmet (Hood) 016

Helmet model 016 in three different sizes, making it easy to use in pediatric or neonatal cradles. Sizes 1 and 2 are supplied with a top ring for use under radiant heating, maintaining high oxygen levels without the hood damaging the action of radiant heating.

• Completely made of transparent acrylic of optical quality;
• It has a lid with a central hole for an oxygen sensor or thermometer;
• Front opening for the patient’s neck and two small side openings for releasing excess CO2 in the event of a lack of oxygen;
• It is equipped with an oxygen inlet valve with a deflector on the inside, so that the gas does not directly enter or cool the patient’s head;
• Due to their design, none of these openings need to be sealed to achieve the desired oxygen concentration levels, thus constituting an essential safety factor.
• Size 01, suitable for newborns weighing less than 1000 grams;
• Size 02, suitable for newborns weighing between 1000 and 3600 grams; Size 03, suitable for newborns weighing more than 3600 grams.
