Nearly a century ago, the Schmidt family arrived in Brazil carrying with them the DNA of technological innovation and the desire to contribute toward the preservation of human life.

It was a winding path, but their efforts were richly rewarded, transforming Fanem® into a pioneering manufacturer of different state-of-the-art equipment, in the neonatal and laboratory areas.

Today, we are proud that we can be found when it is needed most and especially proud of our participation in different governmental programs conducted around the world in the field of Health, such as reduction of child mortality, immunization campaigns, blood donations, humanized birth and neonatal transport, among others.

Knowing that over 80% of Brazilians benefit from Fanem® equipment during their first moment of life, motivates us to continue blazing new trails that extend beyond the borders of Brazil.

We currently have more than 300 employees, and are present in more than 100 countries, training and educating professionals and Fanem® equipment users.

The recognition we have constantly received from reputable organizations and the consumers of our products is the fruit of a seed planted by the Schmidt family, whose driving vision, from the very beginning, was to use technology to serve life.
